Miss Knöpfle & her gentlemen's band in "HEIßE THEKE"
The large fan community of the award-winning music cabaret trio from Karlsruhe is in for a treat: to celebrate their 20th anniversary on stage, the three audience favorites are bringing their brand new show "HEIßE THEKE" to the K2 stage. Cabaret artist Cordula Möhringer storms from her meat counter straight onto the stage and into the hearts of the audience. She finally wants to get rid of her "Fräulein existence" and already has some curious ideas for conquering her dream man. In the process, she unravels bizarre, multi-faceted stories about life in front of and behind the hot counter.Â
The Herrenkapelle, consisting of Reiner Möhringer (vocals, clarinet, saxophone, guitar, violin) and Uli Kofler (piano, vocals,
accordion) conjure up an incredibly multi-layered, highly virtuoso musical spectrum on stage - a cultural experience of a special kind that combines music and comedy in a special way.Â
"Frl Knöpfle & ihre Herrenkapelle": A trained butcher's sales clerk, two highly virtuoso musicians - a fast-paced and amusing interplay of two opposites that couldn't be more different and that's exactly why they form a delicious team.Â
In 2006, the trio won first prize in the nationwide cabaret competition organized by the city of Rottweil with their "mixture of stunning comedy and first-class music", as the laudation put it.
