Focus Day Transfer Paths @Knowledge Week NEULAND

The day offers a wide range of opportunities for researchers, founders and people interested in innovation who want to successfully bring their ideas to the economy and society.

Throughout the day there will be a Open House with individual transfer advice for researchers. Which paths lead from research to application? How can suitable industrial partners be found? And which funding programs help to bring your own projects to market maturity? Come along, bring your questions and discover what is possible at KIT.

At 12:30 pm , the InnovationCampus Mobility of the Future and the Brain Bites format invite you to a compact impulse: How is it possible to develop a market-ready mobility solution from a brilliant idea? Illustrative examples and interactive demonstrators will show what transfer looks like in concrete terms and how it can be made understandable and tangible for everyone, whether researchers, school classes or industry partners.

In the afternoon, the focus will be on international perspectives 4 p.m. speaks Christoph Kempf (IPEK) in his Talk "Shaping innovation potential creatively and internationally" about the conditions that make innovation possible in the first place - and how global cooperation unleashes new impetus.
From 5 p.m. it gets practical with maKeIT HAPPENResearchers from KIT give personal insights into their transfer paths. Over a drink in a relaxed atmosphere, you will find out how research becomes innovation and how you can follow this path yourself.
At the end of the day 7 p.m. the Open-air cinema on the Kronenplatz with the award-winning film "The Imitation Game" about the life and work of Alan Turing, an example of how science and technology can change our world.
Afterwards, from 9:30 pmthere is a interactive Q&A with experts on the topics of innovation, ethics and the history of technology.
Whether advice, inspiration or exchange, the Transfer Pathways Focus Day impressively demonstrates how diverse and effective knowledge and technology transfer is practiced at KIT.
