Together with the Cultural Office of the City of Karlsruhe and the Badisches Staatstheater, the event partners from the arts, science, social initiatives and politics have examined this Europe and its promises from their different perspectives. Is Europe living up to its promises? Which Europe is it actually about? Europe a zone of peace? What about Ukraine and Crimea, migration movements across the Mediterranean, wars and uprisings on the periphery of the continent, but also the European Union?
