Episode 5: Science, bitch!
Paradise Found - Where is your paradise?
Flow - Sustainability Days
5.4.2025 In front of the Natural History Museum
Paradise is history. The gray of concrete, construction sites and anonymity has settled over the cities and their inhabitants. Or has it? We are looking for Karlsruhe residents to tell us in an interview where their paradise is hidden. We are greening the urban gray with twelve mixed-reality stations, each of which conjures up one of these very personal stories in the city. Over two seasons, a digital garden of stories will grow in the city.
The composer Paul Brody will compose the music for the individual episodes from the speech melodies of the interviews, while the libretto remains the spoken word of the Karlsruhe residents - sung, spoken and danced by the various ensembles of the Badisches Staatstheater. A total work of art from the city of Karlsruhe - for the city of Karlsruhe.
Paradise Found is being realized in a climate-neutral way and is fully committed to the idea of sustainability. As part of our diverse supporting program together with all sections of the Staatstheater, from September you can linger in our green theater paradise on the theater forecourt, take a bike tour with us along your stories through the city and much more! Do you want your paradise to be part of this project? Then get in touch with us!
Episode 5: Science, bitch!
Two years alone in the rainforest, 30 hours without sleep, 15 years of research for nothing - doesn't exactly sound like paradise. Spiders, moths and ants even less so. But for the three scientists in this story, there is nothing more exciting. They take us out into nature and quickly convince us of the fascination of their research!
