A special train journey to Lake Constance
Join us on a very special day trip to Lake Constance! We travel by train from Karlsruhe to the sunny south of Baden-Württemberg - to the two most beautiful towns on the western shore of Lake Constance: Radolfzell and Constance.
Radolfzell - nature, relaxation and lake feeling
A relaxed, almost tranquil atmosphere awaits you in Radolfzell - ideal for taking a deep breath and enjoying yourself. The small town has a lot to offer: a well-kept old town, a beautiful lakeside promenade, cozy cafés and extensive green spaces right on the lake.
There is plenty of time for:
- A walk through the town garden to the lakeside promenade
- A visit to the historic town center with its market square and cathedral
- A cool drink or a piece of cake in one of the cafés right on the water
- Or simply: Dangle your feet in the water and let your mind wander
Onward journey along the lake: from Radolfzell to Constance
Passengers who prefer to spend the day in Constance simply stay on the train and enjoy a short, picturesque train journey along the lakeshore. The journey offers wonderful views of small villages, idyllic shorelines and the Untersee - a real treat for the eyes and soul.
Constance - history, water & joie de vivre
Alternatively, our journey takes us to the lively town of Constance, right on the border with Switzerland. It impresses with its well-preserved old town, winding alleyways, the imposing cathedral and the impressive harbour backdrop with the revolving statue of Imperia.
Here you have free time to explore the city individually - or you can take part in an optional city tour, which will show you the most important sights and hidden corners.
Possible highlights in Constance:
- The famous Imperia statue at the harbor
- The mighty Constance Minster with viewing platform
- The Seerhein - the connection between Lake Constance and the Rhine
- Historic old town with half-timbered houses, boutiques & cafés
