EdoZanki would be celebrating its anniversary together with the Kammertheater this season. Because exactly 10 years ago, when Bernd Gnann took over the management, the musical series "Edo Zanki presents ..." was created and a wonderful cooperation was launched.
This year's benefit concert is taking place for the sixth time in memory of Edo Zanki. In 2019, in addition to the indispensable musicians of the first hour, there will once again be surprising pieces of music and collaborations that will perform together for a good cause on the stage of the Karlsruhe Chamber Theater.Â
The great response from our concert visitors gives us hope that the friendly and unpaid collaboration of the artists at this concert evening will arouse interest and sympathy for humanitarian work. We are particularly proud of this tradition and support. We are looking forward to a surprising and once again unique evening of music with hopefully as much encouragement and positive reactions from you as in previous years.Â
The proceeds from this year's concert will go to the "KarlsruherKindertisch e.V." association, which enables children from socially disadvantaged families to have lunch at their educational institution. Actually, a daily hot lunch should be a matter of course in today's affluent society. And yet there are children whose parents cannot afford to pay for the food. Children should not be denied a meal because their parents are in a difficult financial or social situation. This is where we want to help!
