Best known for their unique concerts at renowned music festivals, on the SWR TV show “Kaffee oder Tee,” and on concert tours throughout Europe, North and South America, and the Caucasus, Chai Min Werner and Johannes Hustedt have expanded from the “duo querhorn” to the quartet “Süddeutsches Luft- und Zupfquartett.” Together with Christoph Obert and Roman Rothen, the four transcend the boundaries between classical, jazz, and world music. In 2022, KREISRUND.media produced an artistic documentary film directed by Magdalena Adugna about the musicians, whose natural charisma and captivating unplugged performances were honored by the state of Baden-Württemberg with the “Green Event BW” award. The concert features music from their new CD “divers.”
