The Wave is a clever story about how easily we can be influenced. How it starts small and soon becomes uncontrollable. About how quickly it can be too late. What motivates us to exchange our critical thinking for a specific group affiliation? What do we gain by excluding, humiliating, and disenfranchising others? And what happens when no one finds the courage to raise their voice and object? Morton Rhue's world-famous novel The Wave is becoming increasingly relevant in today's political situation.
