Live im Jazzclub is a musical late-night show with the eloquent and quick-witted host UMBO, songwriter, bassist, entertainer and jack of all trades. It promises handmade, authentic music. Interactions with artists and audience that go beyond the classic concert experience. The real star of the evening is the band, which is always newly assembled from the best that the local and/or German sidemen scene has to offer.
In addition, there will be a star guest who will leave his comfort zone and show other facets of his artistic work through musical games, interviews and his music. The trumpeter and vocalist Joo Kraus has been brought in for the premiere. The UMBO show promises an evening full of joyful playing, virtuosity and musical symbioses across all styles.
