Storytellers from the Karlsruhe Fairy Tale Forum, wirkstatt e.V., take you into the world of fairy tales, myths, and legends, accompanied musically by harpist Silke Stober—for people aged 8 and up, in the baptistery of the Stadtkirche Karlsruhe.Â
Like almost no other animal in fairy tales, birds are a symbol of freedom, flying through the air. They thus become mediators between heaven and earth, flying over time and borders and touching us deeply with their song. But fairy tales also tell of captive and cursed birds that want to be freed and redeemed. This is then the task of the fairy tale hero or heroine. And as always, we can trust in a happy ending.
