Krautrock legend
"The German cult Krautrock band, founded back in 1966, announced in 2016 that they were active again. So it's time to celebrate real cult songs like Gamma Ray (1972) again. After an initial period as a cover band in Berlin and a very young Hugo Egon Balder on drums, they became increasingly well-known and popular and played major events. Their breakthrough was the 1972 album Hoodoo Man with the famous cover.
After all the original members gradually left, the band was revived in the 90s and released new material. After disbanding in the 2000s and restarting a few years ago, the following members are back: Peter Föller (vocals), Manfred von Bohr (drums), Martin Ettrich (guitar), Sascha Kühn (keyboards) and Hannes Vesper (bass). Old and new material will be celebrated here and now."
