Ole Hedeager
(born 1967 in Denmark) is a Danish artist known for his drip paintings.
He drips the paint onto the canvas from his wrist, which can be described as a kind of dance from the wrist. The rhythm is determined by the force of the hand movements, which in turn has something to do with the mood in which Ole Hedeager finds himself. He is aware of the basic composition of the picture beforehand, but as soon as the first move is made, he determines the rest. Each movement triggers vibrations that instinctively prompt him to make the next one.
