Take a look! - The Black Forest begins in Karlsruhe!

Durlach and our hilltop districts, the "mountain villages" of Grünwettersbach, Hohenwettersbach, Palmbach, Stupferich and Wolfartsweier are officially part of the Central/North Black Forest Nature Park.

As a new highlight and the first tourist circular hiking trail in the mountain villages, the AugenBlickRunde Karlsruhe Rittnert leads along natural paths around the high-altitude districts. The new 10-kilometre circular hike combines sights, scenic highlights and, of course, spectacular views of the Black Forest.

On Hiking Day on May 14, 2024, we want to inaugurate the new AugenBlickRunde together and invite you to an eventful theme day with exciting stations along the route.
