To wrap up our ANYMOS KI:NO Summer , we’ll be screening the science fiction thriller “Ex Machina” at the Kinemathekon July 16.
In a compelling blend of suspense and philosophical drama, the film follows Caleb, a young programmer who is invited to a secluded estate to take part in an extraordinary experiment: he is tasked with testing the artificial intelligence Ava to determine how human-like she is. What begins as a scientific task quickly evolves into an intense power struggle between man and machine.
In a fascinating yet unsettling way, “Ex Machina” raises questions about consciousness, control, and the limits of artificial intelligence—and about what actually makes us human.
Admission is free, and it's first come, first served. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
