Protestant town church

A man wants to explain himself. He has been carrying a story around with him for almost 2000 years, but now he is going public with his view of things. His part in the crucifixion of Jesus Christ leaves him no peace. And so he tells of the eventful time with his master, who became his friend. Are these protective claims or is it unquestionable insider knowledge that Judas Iscariot is presenting to the audience? Was it all just a chain of unfortunate circumstances or was a divine plan fulfilled on Golgotha? How should Judas' role in the Passion story be assessed? October 2017 marks the 500th anniversary of the posting of Martin Luther's theses. In it, the reformer postulated freedoms that were of the utmost importance for the development of the modern, self-responsible Christian man. The SCHAUSPIEL shows the monologue in Protestant and Catholic churches in the city. Following the Kammerspiel Gift in the STUDIO, another brilliant psychological study by the successful Dutch author Lot Vekemans can be seen in Karlsruhe. She recently published her first novel, A Wedding Dress from Warsaw, which was nominated for the Anton Wachter Prize. The production will be directed by Tilman Gersch, director of the Pfalzbau Bühnen Ludwigshafen and long-time in-house director at the Staatstheater Wiesbaden. He brought Faustrecht to the stage at STUDIO in 2016.Admission to the auditorium is 10 minutes before the start of each performance. Please note that sufficient seating for all visitors cannot be guaranteed before admission.
