The City Church Parish of Durlach and the Working Group of Christian Churches in Karlsruhe invite you to a political service on October 3, where the pulpit speaker will be Dr. Gregor Gysi, a member of the German Bundestag from 1990 to 2002 and since 2005. For 10 years, he was leader of the Left Party parliamentary group. In 2016, he was elected President of the European Left Party. under the heading "All walls should come down", Gregor Gysi will speak about what unites and divides us three decades after the fall of the Berlin Wall. representatives of the Karlsruhe municipal council groups are invited to make statements. the service will be accompanied by music from the Karlsruhe gospel and jazz choir "spirited voices", conducted by district cantor Johannes Blomenkamp.
