ACROSS THE BORDER // YAKUZI// SKASTADT + special guest
"Gather The Clans!" festival
Across the border have been whirling the folk-punk torpedo across stages for over 30 years and show that they are united not only by an explosive but also long-lasting passion for music. Founded in 1991, the band from Remchingen quickly went from being a local hero to a tip on the scene and over the years have not only been able to gain a loyal fan base, but also maintain their authenticity. Captivating melodies and songs that easily climb into the fans' ear canals make up Across the Border's individual style. They combine folk and punk like no other band and celebrate their musical style with songs such as "I can't Love this country", "Their last crusade" or "The night is not just for sleeping". Since the beginning of their career, Across the Border have impressively demonstrated that music can and perhaps even has to be fun even with political messages. A healthy dose of passionate defiance and assertiveness resonates in their songs, as does a zest for life and partying. Violin, bass and drums build the soundscape of Across the border, which is completed by accordion, guitar and the distinctive vocals. Profound lyrics shine alongside rousing "party anthems" and invite the audience to a fast-paced and sweaty concert experience time and again.
You can also look forward to our favorite trumpet punkers from Yakuzi , who will finally play a "loud" concert again after their unplugged show in 2023, and the Karlsruhe ska legends Skastadt, reunited since 2023 and with a lot of desire to play live.
