CANCELLED SOUNDSGOOD-FESTIVAL: Jazz-Soundsgood
The two-day SOUNDSGOOD FESTIVAL aims to push boundaries. Up-and-coming musicians from all over Germany will demonstrate their skills in different genres and styles over two showcase days. The POP SOUNDSGOOD kick-off the day before at Jubez in Karlsruhe and a music conference at Karlshochschule on the topic of "Sustainability in the music industry" will be followed by the "JAZZ SOUNDSGOOD" evening at TOLLHAUS. The line-up includes the "absolute high-flyer bands in the German jazz scene" Jin Jim, who fuse Latin, jazz and rock, the Munich electro-jazz collective Ark Noir, Roman Schuler's extended trio RSxT, which promises experiments between analog and electronic sounds, the neo-acapella formation Of Cabbages and Kings, which impresses with the expressive voices of the four solo artists and their compositions, and the Berlin formation Bobby Rausch with its uniquely powerful, straightforward, deep sound.
The after-show party at the end of the SOUNDSGOOD festival will be held in the Alte Hackerei from 10 p.m. with Julian Maier-Hauff and his Analogue Live Electro set.
The organizer of the SOUNDSGOOD FESTIVALs is KarlsKonzerte e. V. The student association was founded in Karlsruhe in 2014 to offer young and ambitious musicians a platform and to promote them. The focus is on organizing concerts in and around Karlsruhe. This is also intended to promote the cultural scene in the Karlsruhe region.
