Contrary to what its name might suggest, the Turmberg Run is a flat 10-kilometer race through Durlach’s old town and along the Pfinz River.
No one here needs to worry about steep inclines or even a mountain run. Starting at 1:00 p.m., the youngest participants can take part in the kids’ race in the Durlach Castle Gardens.
The route (10 km) starts at the market square and first winds through the Old Town along Pfinztalstraße and the so-called Altstadtring, then follows the Pfinz River and passes through the “green lung” of the old royal capital toward Grötzingen, and finally returns to downtown Durlach and the finish line at the Saumarkt.
The
Kickoff will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Durlach's market square by our chairman, Mathias Tröndle.
Starting at 1:00 p.m., the children's races will take place in the palace gardens.
