To mark the 75th Memorial Day for the Victims of National Socialism, the BADISCHE STAATSKAPELLE is dedicating its 2nd special concert to the persecuted Karlsruhe architect and composer Richard Fuchs. His cantata Vom Jüdischen Schicksal, whose performance was banned in 1937, will receive its German premiere in Karlsruhe after more than 80 years. An exhibition will be opened before the concert. It commemorates the famous Karlsruhe footballer Gottfried Fuchs. He is the composer's brother.
