125 years of "eternal rest" - the Grand Ducal Burial Chapel in Karlsruhe was completed in 1896.
Built as a mausoleum for the young deceased son of the Grand Duke of Baden, it became the princely family burial place. In 1952, the
Burial takes place. Hidden away in the Hardtwald forest, the chapel once provided the princely family with a more private memorial. This special tour is dedicated to the history of the Grand Ducal Funeral Chapel and the personalities buried here.
