Beethoven composed his overture to the domineering Roman patrician "Coriolanus" as a musical introduction to Heinrich von Collin's poem in a dramatic condensation. His famous 3rd Piano Concerto is also in C minor, played by Rafał Blechacz - known as a "musician in the service of music, who explores its depths, explores its meaning and explores its possibilities", according to the Washington Post. Blechacz has already been awarded the German Record Critics' Award, Diapason D`or and the Premio Internazionale Accademia Chigiana, among others. As in the piano concerto, Mozart is also a strong inspirational force in Schubert's 5th Symphony. In his favorite key of B flat major, the 19-year-old composer seduces us into paradisiacal landscapes of the soul, which he describes in his diary in Mozartian reverence: "O Mozart, immortal Mozart, how many o how infinitely many benevolent imprints of a bright, better life you have left on our souls."
