Past moose and deer goat antelopes: 7 kilometers through the Oberwald animal park

We also have a suitable route for animal lovers to clear their heads. This almost seven-kilometre route leads through the almost 600-hectare Oberwald forest, part of which is a nature reserve. The route starts at the waterworks and then heads directly towards the Oberwald animal park, where you can observe animals that cope well with our climate, such as European elk, chamois, deer goats, Bactrian camels, Mesopotamian fallow deer, Asian donkeys and much more. The route leads past the zoo, past Lake Erlachsee and back to the waterworks.
