With over 900 hectares of public gardens and parks, Karlsruhe offers a multitude of islands of peace and relaxation. What could be better than taking a seat on a cozy blanket with a well-filled picnic basket and enjoying a little time out in the open air?
The gourmet safari, for example, takes you through the city center. Equipped with a rucksack, route map and picnic blanket, you set off from the tourist information office on the market square to bakeries, markets and delicatessens in the city. Here you can fill your rucksack with all kinds of delicacies to your heart's content. At the end of the tour, the delicacies purchased can be enjoyed under a shady tree in the castle garden.
The picnic basket is already packed at Happy Picknick. It can be put together online and picked up at the desired location. If you like it even more uncomplicated, order the Happy Picnic Premium. The charm of this special dinner lies in the fact that the location is only published the day before via KTG's channels (social media, newsletter, website). After the meal, everything is left as it was found. What remains is the memory of a wonderful evening with good food, old and new acquaintances and the anticipation of the next time.

In Weststadt, the focus is on the Gründerzeit facades and multi-cultural flair, in Durlach on the charm of the old town and the modern way of life.

For a whole evening, from 5 pm to midnight, eight Karlsruhe breweries will open their doors to a varied program with beer tasting, brewery tours, music and more.
