French lifestyle meets culinary delights: the Dîner en blanc
On September 6, it's "all white please!" again: For the 12th time, the Dîner en blanc will take place in Karlsruhe and celebrate the French way of life in a special setting. The stylish gourmet picnic brings community, enjoyment and elegance together at one table. Dressed all in white, guests can enjoy homemade delicacies outdoors and spend an unforgettable evening with old and new friends. The special attraction of the dinner is the secret venue. The meeting point is only announced shortly beforehand via the social media channels of KTG Karlsruhe Tourismus GmbH. All food and drinks, decorations and furnishings are brought by the participants themselves and after the meal everything is left as it was found. What remains is the memory of a special evening with delicious food and the anticipation of next year.
The Karlsruhe Summer of Indulgence 2025 enters the final round
Another grand finale for Karlsruhe's summer of indulgence: until September 14, gourmets have the opportunity to discover the city's culinary diversity. As part of the joint promotion by KTG and eight Karlsruhe restaurants, you can enjoy an exclusive three-course menu for a fixed price of €99. Demand for the exclusive promotional menus remains high. Another success: since the start of the summer of indulgence in June, the participating restaurants have welcomed numerous new guests and even familiar guests have once again taken the time to enjoy themselves.
Hops, malt and merriment: Beer exchange begins in Karlsruhe
Numerous beer exchange fans will once again gather in Karlsruhe's largest beer garden from August 29 to 31, when the Karlsruhe Beer Exchange opens its taps in the palace garden for the 23rd time. There will be a choice of over 500 local and exotic beers fresh from the tap. For all those who want to try different varieties and don't want to decide straight away, there are around 60 stands offering a small sample in a practical "ProBIERglas" - also non-alcoholic. In addition to beer, snack stands offer specialties for the small appetite in between, while various bands complement the program with varied entertainment.
Celebrating diversity at Lounge 76
Beats, drinks and a vacation feeling in the middle of the market square: on September 12 and 13, guests at Lounge 76 can relax for the last time this year with extravagant cocktails, a variety of DJs and culinary specialties on the market square. For the first time, Lounge 76 will be held under the motto "Celebrate diversity, enjoy music!". On the initiative of KTG, the organizer City Initiative Karlsruhe is setting an example for inclusion with more space for dancing, including for wheelchair users. In addition, there will be an inclusive music program with the dance group "EFI tanzt" and the blind singer Kerstin Kolb on 13 September from 5 pm. The screening of the music video "Wir haben nen Traum" encourages people to sing and dance along and shows what people with and without disabilities can achieve together.
Regional wine enjoyment at the SCHLOSSLICHTSPIELEN
At the end of the SCHLOSSLICHTSPIELE, another culinary highlight between Karlsruhe Castle and the market square invites you to linger. At the "Weinleuchten" from September 12 to 14, regional winegrowers will be offering fine wines for tasting. The following will be presenting themselves on the castle square: Oberkircher Winzer eG, Hex vom Dasenstein, Winzerkeller Auggener Schäf, Forster Winzerverein eG, Winzer vom Weinberger Tal eG, Freigeist Apfelmosterei. Represented on the market square are: Klenert, Klumpp, Baumann, Vicone.
For a whole month, the SCHLOSSLICHTSPIELE delighted audiences from near and far with fascinating light shows. The "Weinleuchten" invites you to celebrate this special time and toast together - to art, music, enjoyment and the special flair in Karlsruhe!
