“We’re very pleased that, with over 1,300 tickets sold, we were once again able to surpass last year’s total of 1,150 tickets,” says KTG Managing Director Pascal Rastetter, adding: “However, there were significantly more visitors on site at the breweries, who enjoyed not only the beers but also the wonderful atmosphere in fantastic weather and the many pleasant encounters with people from all over the region.”
“1 evening. 6 breweries. And plenty of beer culture.” Under this motto, Badisch Brauhaus, Brauerei Wolf, Brauhaus Kühler Krug, Fächerbräu, Brauerei Moninger, Vogelbräu Karlsruhe, and Durlach invited guests into the world of brewing. With their ticket, guests received a tasting sample at each brewery in a tasting glass designed specifically for the Long Night. The selection ranged from traditional varieties to creative new brews, and non-alcoholic options were also available. In addition to the tasting samples, a colorful program awaited attendees: live music, the Beer Olympics, media art by Jonas Denzel, and much more made the evening a special experience.
A free ride on the KVV network—the mobility partner of the Long Night of the Breweries—included with the ticket ensured safe travel between the event venues.
Pascal Rastetter offers a positive assessment: “With the Long Night of the Breweries, we wanted to create a new culinary highlight on Karlsruhe’s calendar of events in 2024. This year, in line with our new tourism strategy, we can add to that: The Long Night brings people together and lets them experience our city in a special way. That’s exactly what Karlsruhe stands for: vibrant culture and authentic life!”
