Neighborhood architect

With Dipl.-Ing. Kristof Knauer, the city of Karlsruhe has gained an experienced district architect for the City Transformation project. Knauer brings extensive knowledge in the field of conversion and redesign of buildings, as well as expertise in the hospitality industry.

As a district architect, Dipl.-Ing. Kristof Knauer is now advising and supporting owners of retail and commercial properties in the city districts. He focuses primarily on the conversion and redesign of retail spaces. He also examines the economic viability of construction projects and advises on issues such as accessibility, energy-efficient refurbishment and design.
