Oberländer wine tavern
Once opened as a cozy wine tavern, the traditional house is now a modern restaurant with historical flair. The restaurant has been in the family for three generations.
The house was built in 1826. In 1918, Adolf Rinderspacher acquired it, renovated it thoroughly and opened the Oberländer Weinstube of today.
The pub soon made a name for itself when the then district judge and his colleagues regularly met for a good glass of wine in the inn. The down-to-earth Oberland cuisine also contributed to the establishment's good reputation. The grandson of the founder of the Oberländer Weinstube ran the restaurant for almost 40 years.
In the early 1990s, the renowned Michelin restaurant and hotel guide awarded the traditional restaurant one star. In 2013, the restaurant was given a new owner, Jörg Hammer, who successfully continues to run the restaurant with his wife Diana.
