Open Monument Day. Existence and appearance - in history, architecture and monument preservation

Open Monument Day on the 12th September 2021

The Open Monument Day in Karlsruhe is based on three pillars. Since summer 2020 you will find impressive short films about many monuments in Karlsruhe and the region. More will be added in the course of the year. On the day of the open monument itself, a large number of monuments will open for viewing, taking into account the then applicable distance and hygiene rules, guided tours outdoors will focus on architectural features. And finally, the Karlsruhe organ walks should not be missed, where a short organ concert begins every full hour in at least one Karlsruhe church.

The whole program of the event is available here in German.
