Art as a window to peripheral social worlds and themes, as a medium for sensitizing people to the Other, as a means of engaging with different views and ways of being.

The gallery focuses on the periphery in art, both in terms of subject matter (periphery in e.g. social, geographical, political, sexual terms) and art production (outsider art, art singular, art brut). It sees itself first and foremost as a place for art education and has set itself the task of popularizing these themes and art movements that have little presence in the current art scene.
