Library of the Federal Court of Justice
With a good 411,000 media units at present, the library of the Federal Court of Justice is the largest court library in Germany.Â
In 2003, the library moved into a prestigious new building, in which the media holdings are spread over four floors in a systematic open access arrangement. The arrangement and indexing of media from the year 2000 onwards is based on the Regensburg Union Classification, a cooperatively maintained system with over one hundred user libraries.
With a consistent focus on the needs of this user group, it catalogs not only books and journals, but also relevant articles from journals and anthologies.
The library of the Federal Court of Justice is primarily intended for the members of the court and the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office as well as for the Federal Court of Justice. For this It is open at all times for this group of users. In addition, the library is open during office hours (Monday to Thursday from 8.30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday until 2 p.m.). persons.
