As an alternative to the canceled city festival and the associated Sunday shopping, a shining night of shopping until 10 p.m., an open construction site day from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. as well as many decentralized experiences and dealer promotions attracted visitors to Karlsruhe city center on October 10, 2020. The opening of the completely renovated market square - the historic heart of the city - was celebrated! In addition, the Ludwigsbrunnen splashed again between the town hall and the Protestant town church after seven years of absence.
Due to the corona situation, no fixed program items and times could be communicated in advance.
All visitors were asked to wear a mask and to keep the distance to each other.
Note: The arriving by bike or public transport was recommended. A large BGV bicycle parking lot was available free of charge at the Schlossplatz.
