Lots of culture under one roof.
This is the Hallenbau - Karlsruhe's new cultural quarter. The ZKM Centre for Art and Media, the Kunsthalle, the Städtische Galerie and the Hochschule für Gestaltung are now all under one roof. (Here you will find research, teaching and more than 600 years of art - from old masters to modern and post-war art to current artistic positions, contemporary sculpture and post-modern media installations.) That does the UNESCO CITY OF MEDIA ARTS every honour.
