This special Christmas market has been delighting visitors for years with its medieval flair against the beautiful backdrop of the Karlsburg Castle. Visitors of all generations immerse themselves in the world of knights, jugglers and craftsmen from another time - by candlelight, the crackling of fire baskets and the smell of mulled wine. At the weekends, the Baden sword players demonstrate camp life and exciting show fights up close, children can get active themselves by making candles or in the historic dye works, while sparks fly in the smithy and storytellers enchant with fairy tales.
There is also something for every culinary taste - from bull ribs to hearty stews and sweet treats. Every day, clubs and artists present a varied program on the stage.

Are you looking for particularly individual, small Christmas gifts?
At the Christmas market in the Rathausgewölbe, 60 artisans take turns to show a wide range of handicrafts made of felt, wool, wood and paper, watercolors, floristry, honey, bookbinding, jewelry, works in stone, fabric, glass, ceramics and much more.
