The Neureuter-Heimathaus was built around 1860, at the time when the entire Kirchfeldstraße was being built. The building and the entire estate were mainly used for agricultural purposes. At the beginning of 1970, the municipality of Neureut acquired the building for the long-term expansion of the North School. However, this extension was realized in a different way in the meantime. As early as the mid-1980s, the idea was born to establish a local history house here to preserve and preserve our local history. After some renovation work, this plan was finally resumed and realized with determination in 1998. On June 17th, 1999, the Neureut local history house was finally inaugurated.
