Preserving monuments together - with us!

Container

The Monument Protection Authority of the City of Karlsruhe and the State Office for the Preservation of Historical Monuments see themselves as advisors and supporters in the joint task of preserving monuments. Monuments should be used because then they "come alive"; they should also be made fit for the future. The aim is to find a common way to protect the substance of monuments and pass them on to future generations in a way that can be experienced. The appearance of the objects should not be significantly impaired in the eyes of observers who are open to monument preservation; that is the maxim for the exterior. When you talk to us, we will work together to find compromises that will make many, but perhaps not all, of your ideas and wishes a reality. We support compromises that are compatible with monument preservation, which is reflected in the monument preservation permit and can open the door to special tax depreciation for "monument preservation" for owners.
