Open church Hohenwettersbach

The church is open for visitors to explore and relax. Among the church’s highlights are the colorful stained-glass windows and, above the altar, a 2x3-meter painting by Veronika Olma, which depicts the miracle of Pentecost in egg tempera.

Accessibility: not barrier-free

  • The original Protestant church was built in 1741. After being severely damaged by a fire, it was rebuilt in a similar style and consecrated in 1841. The baptismal font, which is still in use today, was also created that year. There have been changes over the years. The interior of the church underwent a significant redesign in 1990–2000.
