Guided Tour: Experience and Learn About the History of the Protestant Church in Wössingen Up Close

Guided tour with an interactive presentation on the history of the church and the pastors who have served there and in the parish. Visit to the bell tower and, weather permitting, a view of the village from the balcony.

  • The church was built between 1817 and 1822. Architect Christian Theodor Fischer designed not only the church but also the parsonage across Wössinger Straße, connecting the two with a long open staircase to create a cohesive whole—unique in Baden—that visitors can experience firsthand. Inside, visitors are greeted by a striking sense of space, based on the clear proportions and the close interconnection of the columns with the gallery and the ensemble comprising the altar and pulpit.
