A human and a robot acting as an acrobatic duo? Doesn't exist? But it does exist!
In his unique performance at this year's Karlsruhe City Festival, Daniel Simu showed what happens when humans and robots meet on stage. The show delighted young and old alike because it brought something to life that affects us all: how much do the latest inventions and artificial intelligence influence us - and how human can they appear? With lightness and entertainment, "The Acrobot" provided a glimpse into our digital future, which did not appear cool and distant here, but full of fantasy, emotion and closeness.
The question arose: Are machines only functional or can they touch us emotionally?
