The districts in the city center also came up with a special program for the city festival weekend!
Quartier Südliche Waldstrasse
Autumnal decorations, a cheerful atmosphere and regional specialties lured visitors to the southern Waldstraße when the traders invited them to the farmers' market and wine festival on Sunday. On October 13, 2024 from 13:00 to 18:00, visitors could look forward to delicious pumpkin soup and tarte flambée, various wines, street artists, a craft market and a treasure hunt for a good cause.

Refreshing autumnal drinks, a coffee bar and lovely decorations created the perfect feel-good atmosphere. All visitors were able to enjoy these drinks free of charge on presentation of a voucher, which they could obtain from the participating stores. As a thank you for their many years of loyalty, the local stores also handed out practical and stylish umbrellas in the neighborhood design to their customers.

Eastern Kaiserstrasse quarter
Parallel to the lively hustle and bustle of the Karlsruhe City Festival, the forecourt of the Kleine Kirche invited visitors to linger. A colorful music and cultural program, hands-on workshops for children and freshly brewed coffee from the coffee bike offered a place for relaxation and entertainment on both days. At the same time, the Little Church opened its doors and invited visitors to discover the newly created co-working space in the gallery.
