11th Plenary Assembly of the
Ecumenical Council
of the Churches

Under the motto "The love of Christ moves, reconciles and unites the world", delegates from around 350 churches came to the 11th Assembly of the World Council of Churches (WCC) 2022 at the Karlsruhe Congress Center together.

In the middle of Karlsruhe city center on the market square the cultural stage invited the whole city and the region to celebrate, sing, dance and experience life in all its diversity. The entire program was free to attend and there was no admission charge.
