Once again this year, the Festival of the Senses offers a number of highlights for a spring weekend for the whole family!
On the Friedrichsplatz young and old can look forward to a Big Bobby Car course and historical XXL wooden games. The Karlsruhe City Library also invites all children to a reading and crafting break - whether to listen to the reading sessions at 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00 or to browse for themselves.
An imaginative hands-on experience for children and a colorful spectacle for everyone else is offered by the Buzzz" insect vehicles. Children travel from stop to stop on five giant insects, accompanied by a chief conductor and his dreamy assistant. Everyone controls their own insect - but be careful, the animals don't like a mess! Saturday and Sunday from 14:00 to 15:30 and from 16:30 to 18:00.
At the "Climate Monster" workshop on Saturday from 12:00 to 14:00 and from 15:00 to 17:00, children can get creative with the topic of sustainability and make various things from recycled materials.
On Sunday, 19-year-old Laurin Sigmund will be enchanting guests with piano music from 14:00 to 16:00 and collecting donations for a project at SWR-Herzenssache , which aims to make it easier for socially disadvantaged and physically disabled children and refugee children to access music.
The St. Stephan church square is transformed into a true play paradise, as the "Zone 30" play street awaits the youngest visitors with the latest play offers from renowned manufacturers.
