The heart of the business beats in the brewery and since 1999 the home-brewed beer has characterized the Badisch Brauhaus in Karlsruhe. In contrast to industrially produced beer, the beer at Badisch Brauhaus is still brewed by hand. Master brewer Peter Kopf and brewer Felix Lange allow the beer the time it needs to mature and leave the natural yeast content exactly where it belongs, in the beer!
This creates the unique taste of BADISCH HELL and BADISCH DUNKEL as well as the respective seasonal specialty beers.

Born in the southern part of Karlsruhe, brewed according to a traditional recipe and the German Purity Law, Wolf Brewery 's beers are wild and spicy classics of the fan-shaped city.
The traditional brewery, which was initially founded in 1885 by Max Wolf as a small private brewery, has developed over the decades into an integral part of Karlsruhe's beer culture. Although the original brewery was closed in 2009, the Wolf brand lives on and is continued today under the umbrella of Heidelberger Brauerei and distributed by Fächerbräu Karlsruhe.
The Wolf brewery offers a diverse selection of beers: the main varieties include "Wolf Pils", a spicy classic, and "Wolf Helles", a smooth, gently hopped beer. Other specialties are the "Wolf Export", the "Wolf Weizen Hefe hell" and the "Wolf Kräusen hell & unfiltered". The "Wolf Natur Radler", a mixture of light beer and naturally cloudy lemonade, is also particularly popular.
The Wirtshaus Wolfbräu in Werderstraße, the original location of the brewery, offers a cozy atmosphere with a beer garden and regular live music events. The menu includes home-style cooking with dishes such as homemade Maultaschen, Käsespätzle and Cordon Bleu. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available.
With its historical heritage and the combination of tradition and modernity, Wolf Brewery remains an integral part of Karlsruhe's beer landscape.

The family brewery Brauhaus Kühler Krug is idyllically located in the recreational area of Karlsruhe and combines over 125 years of brewing tradition with rustic hospitality. Since its foundation in 1898 by the architect Carl Schäfer, the traditional brewery has developed from a popular pub for day trips to a central meeting place for social life in the region.
Today, the Kühler Krug is a modern brewery with its own brewery, which produces unfiltered, naturally cloudy beers in accordance with the German Purity Law of 1516. The main varieties include the "Helle" and the "Rittertrunk", a spicy dark beer. Seasonal specialties such as Maibock, Hexenbock and Weihnachtsbock are also on offer.
The menu offers home-style, Baden-Bavarian cuisine with changing daily specials. Specials such as knights' banquets, BBQ evenings and brewing seminars complete the culinary offer.
In a rustic and cozy atmosphere, the Brauhaus offers individual guests as well as groups and parties - from 20 to 800 people - a very special experience. Whether a company party, birthday or wedding: the spacious rooms and extensive beer garden create the perfect setting for any event, while regular events such as over-30 parties and New Year's Eve balls ensure a varied program.

Hoepfner - The beer from the castle
Hoepfner has been brewing beer in Baden since 1798. The brewery is still located in the historic Hoepfner Burg in Karlsruhe's Oststadt district. Here, our master brewers continue the regional brewing tradition and create Karlsruhe classics such as Hoepfner Pilsner with passion, heart and craftsmanship.
Beer from the castle is a part of Karlsruhe's way of life and is as inextricably linked to regional gastronomy and festival culture as the brewery is to the city and its people.

The brewery Moningerhas been an established name in Karlsruhe since it was founded in 1856. Most varieties are brewed exclusively with aroma hops, traditional brewing methods such as the two-mash process are used and, last but not least, the beers are given plenty of time to mature.
In 2018, the Scheidtweiler brewing family acquired the brewery and has set itself the goal of once again offering Karlsruhe and its surroundings individual beers with a strong character and continuing the great brewing tradition of the Moninger family.
With a team of beer enthusiasts, they set to work and worked in great detail to revise the brewing process, change raw materials and develop new recipes. Many, many tastings later, the new Moninger beers were presented for the first time in September 2021. Two of the new main varieties were dedicated to the defining figures of the first and second generations of the Moninger family. "Die Moni", the export, is a tribute to the first generation and the key role played by Marie Moninger. "Der Karl" pays tribute to the creative power and innovative spirit of the second generation around Karl Moninger.
