Burning Ropes

Top-class rope skipping and a symbiosis of sport and music - that's what the Burning Ropes on December 23, 2022 on the railway-free Kaiserstrasse and on December 28, 2022 on the Stadtwerke Karlsruhe WINTER TIME. Rapid jumps, somersaults and flickflacks - the 10-time German rope skipping champions had a repertoire of jumps that amazed young and old alike!

The Burning Ropes show group from Turnerschaft e.V. 1922 Ottersweier, under the direction of Marcel Velte, is known for its spectacular rope skipping shows. They combine the art of rope skipping with unique acrobatics and have already performed more than 500 shows in over 130 cities nationally and internationally. They are 10-time German Rope Skipping Champions and even secured the 2019 European Freestyle Vice-Champion title. Furthermore, the rope skipping group has already been Germany's best show group 5 times, has set a world record and will represent the German Gymnastics Federation at the World Gymnaestrada in Amsterdam for the second time in 2023. They have already appeared on TV on "Das Supertalent", "Immer Wieder Sonntags" and on channels such as RTL, ARD, SAT1 and VOX.

The spectators were able to experience spectacular rope jumping tricks choreographed to thrilling music!
