The "Residence of Law" celebrates the big constitutional anniversary !
On May 23, 2024, the Basic Law of the Federal Republic of Germany celebrated its 75th birthday. Karlsruhe, as the city with the seat of the highest German courts, also dedicates itself to the topics of law and democracy with numerous formats throughout the year.
The SCHLOSSLICHTSPIELE Light Festival Karlsruhe emphasizes the importance of equal rights, participation and unrestricted fundamental rights under the motto "Everybody Counts". Herbert Grönemeyer, one of the most outstanding and socially and politically committed German artists, will play two very special concert evenings in front of Karlsruhe Palace on August 9 and 10, 2024. The intercultural festival "MONDO", discussion rounds of the Forum Law Foundation, constitutional discussions & many other event formats celebrate this important anniversary for all of us.
