A lecture as part of the anniversary celebrations of the Heimstiftung Karlsruhe: Why animals open up new possibilities. Strengthen, encourage, support, allow, ...
Even in ancient times, it was recognized that animals have a positive effect on people. Animals accept people without prejudice and children and young people are accepted for who they are. Animal-assisted therapy works with spontaneity and exercises that appeal to all the senses. The unconditional acceptance of the animals opens up the children and young people, resulting in new perspectives. Through the animal, the children and young people also experience that they are "good" just as they are.
