Soulcafé - that's the funk & soul band in Karlsruhe. Fat brass riffs, a well-rehearsed rhythm section, combined with a warm-sounding vocal front, give soul classics a new lease of life with fresh arrangements. Fine grooves, crisp funk and soulful jazz are what Soulcafé is all about. Since 2008, this has been a consistently successful evening in the program of the Jazzclub Karlsruhe. Soulcafé has now become a small, fine, non-commercial funk & soul oasis in Karlsruhe. With a big grin and lots of groove, the band sends its audience off into the rest of the week!
