For 41 years now, there has been a festival for up-and-coming rock and pop bands in Karlsruhe, organized by Jubez, Substage e.V., Tempel as members of Popnetz Karlsruhe.
The Popnetz region extends slightly beyond the city and district of Karlsruhe and young bands/acts from the entire region can take part.
The semi-final at Substage brings the winners of the preliminary rounds to the big stage. An expert jury and the audience decide together which acts will make it to the final.
The final will take place at jubez and the winners will receive attractive prizes such as recording studio recordings, vouchers (Rockshop), as well as performances at Das Fest (on the main and field stage) and the Unifest.
