Children's concert with Gorilla Club
"1-2-3-4!" for children from 5 and also adults
"The Gorilla Club is a great rock and pop band that will get the jubez in Karlsruhe shaking and dreaming. You can dance, jump, sing along or just listen. They have a wacky, wacky, lovable, noisy and inviting collection of songs to listen to again and again and guarantee a wonderful gorilla party in the concert club. The Gorilla Club also has a "side project" for adults, the band Locas in Love. But for now: children and gorillas to the front!!!
After the Oetinger compilation series Unter meinem Bett has already managed the balancing act of bringing music into living rooms, children's rooms and family cars that inspires both parents and children with three successful parts, Oetinger now presents GORILLA CLUB with their album "1-2-3-4!".
Behind the name GORILLA CLUB is the Cologne-based indie pop institution Locas In Love, which has released seven critically acclaimed albums produced between Cologne and New York since the beginning of the millennium, establishing itself slightly under the radar as an exceptional band and at the same time taking its quirkiness to ever higher heights."
Björn Sonnenberg, Stefanie Schrank and Jan Niklas Jansen aka Locas In Love - "important and reassuring" according to Spiegel Online, "pleasantly serene and brilliantly cerebral" according to Süddeutsche Zeitung - exist in a niche of their own, bulky, embracing, obsessive. In 2016, they contributed the song "Von hier oben" to the second Unter meinem Bett part and were subsequently involved in many of the UMB live shows celebrated by fans young and old. Having always been more interested in the crazy Gesamtkunstwerk or offbeat concept than the big breakthrough in the past and spurred on by the work on their sampler contribution and the anarchic joy and creativity of the UMB concerts, the idea was born to produce a complete album of music for children."
