KarlsUnruhe: Nomad + Maneki Neko
A musical mixture of blues, psychedelic rock, desert rock, doom, heavy metal and experimental music.Â
Welcome to the universe of Nomad: With their own blend of blues, psychedelic rock, doom and heavy metal, channeling the musical soul of the 70s to 90s, the music of the four Karlsruhe-based musicians is a journey in itself. Guitars cut through the silence like ancient caravans traversing barren landscapes, while the bass unleashes a primal power that mirrors the heartbeat of the tireless drums; framed by a relentless voice. The sound of Nomad feels like a trek through unknown lands, a sonic odyssey that immerses you in a wilderness of heavy riffs and haunting melodies, like sharing stories of days long forgotten around a roadside campfire.
Maneki Neko was founded by singer and guitarist Michelle Langner, they have been playing regular concerts since 2017. Their influences are psychedelic rock and desert rock, experimental music music, danceable grooves paired with dark accents and occult themes themes hidden in their lyrics. Maneki Neko has already played in different countries and at various festivals, have been support act for bands such as Dirty Sound Magnet, MaidaVale, Labasheeda, Olaf and the Big Bad Trip, and many more...Under the label KarlsUnruhe, two acts from the region make "noise" once a month at Minestrone. To be honest, we have "KarlsUnruhe"
not invented and the older ones may remember: there was a cool vinyl sampler in the 90s and also
Events in the (then still) Subway. We really enjoyed these
tradition now, because seriously: is there any
more suitable names for live shows in and from our city?
